​The hunt for a listed vol contender continues. Today, BOX revealed details of a move in to the space with news it plans to list RealVol SPY Options. The issue, of course, is getting the necessary initial liquidity. There is no talk in the market of this being a threat to VIX. BOX's Ed Boyle says the idea is complement VIX.
