Institutional investors are largely shying away from taking directional positions in the European equity derivatives markets and are either restructuring trades or unwinding rally positions that haven’t transpired. According to market participants, those investors are sitting on the sidelines until further details are provided of expected quantitative easing from the European Central Bank and results of Greek parliamentary elections are announced.
