Oregon Pension Rebalancing Equity, Fixed Income Funds To Lower Risk

The USD135 billion Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund has changed its allocation targets for its public equity and fixed income sleeves to reduce predicted active risk exposures in those markets. The fund shifted USD520 million in public equity assets managed by Arrowstreet Capital to funds managed by Acadian Asset Management and Walter Scott & Partners, resulting in an 11 basis-point decrease in predicted risk, according to minutes from Oregon Investment Council’s board of directors meeting in March and available on MandateConnect.
