Equity derivatives traders and salespeople in Europe and Asia have highlighted movements in equity volatility over the last 10 hours as evidence that the market wrongly priced Donald Trump becoming the President-elect of the United States. Both Asia and European equity markets experienced wild equity volatility swings on Wednesday, yet both regions saw vol calm rapidly as profit taking began to dominate flow.
