​SG Expands Thematic Basket Offering

Société Générale has expanded its thematic basket offering by hiring an ex-Graham Capital Management senior portfolio manager and improving the speed it can set up baskets. With an M&A spree, a potential rise in inflation expectations in Europe, a resilience in China consumption, a rise in Japan buybacks, among other factors, there is increased alpha available in thematic baskets and thematic dispersion trades.
