​Market participants see the equity and volatility derivatives market growing by 43% in the coming year, fueled by more activity in Europe and Asia and significant interest in correlation and dispersion trading strategies, according to a new report from EQDerivatives. Buysiders broadly are becoming more aggressive, with many allocating more than half their portfolios to alpha-seeking strategies, the report found.
