Investors believe active exchange-traded funds are showing greater promise than their more traditional mutual fund counterparts. Active ETF assets have tripled since 2018 with global ETF assets tripling since the end of 2018 to USD14.4 trillion but actively managed ETFs have outshined this rate, rising almost 700% since 2019 to USD806 billion at the end of October, according to data from Morningstar.
