​ARP In Australia Springs To Life As Managers Bid For Mandates

The market for alternative risk premia in Australia seemed to stall late last year, as performance across factors and managers failed to live up to expectations. Some funds, however, are pushing ahead with allocations in 2019, particularly with mandates being sought among the external managers. While the illusion of back tests and ARP’s power as a diversifier may have been shattered, Australia’s supers are still finding uses for the techniques in their portfolio. Daniel O’Leary reports.
