Boyle To DB, Haldane Promoted At Citi, Nomura Winds Down EMEA Equity Derivs

In the last 24 hours in the global equity derivatives market, James Boyle, global head of equity derivatives at Citigroup in Hong Kong, has left the firm to join Deutsche Bank as head of equities, APAC and head of global markets in Hong Kong. He will also co-head global equity derivatives with Brad Kurtzman. At Citi, meanwhile, David Haldane, head of EMEA equity derivatives in London, has been promoted to global head of derivative trading. Elsewhere, at Nomura, there have been a raft of departures as the firm winds down its EMEA equity derivatives flow and equity structured products business.
