CME Opens Door To Block Trading Delta-Neutral SPX Options On Futures
Jun 12, 2018
Market participants can now block-trade delta neutral or covered options on standard S&P 500 index futures at CME, after the exchange issued a rule change that went into effect with trading on Monday. “Prior to yesterday, you could not block-trade Standard or E-mini futures at all,” said Tim McCourt, global head of equity products at the exchange. “Now you are able to submit those trades as a block trade, when part of a covered futures and options block trade at CME.”
