Daily Bulletin: Monday Nov. 10
Nov 10, 2014
We start the week focusing on EEM, specifically some significant flow in a collar strategy in the ETF. A statement from U.S. President Barack Obama setting out support for net neutrality weighed heavily on internet providers in the single stock market, with one investor selling significant call spreads in Comcast to close a position. Elsewhere, we focus on structured product developments in the Americas and Europe. In the U.S., Managing Editor Daniel O’Leary reports on a novel unit investment trust that uses a portfolio of OTC options on the Eurostoxx 50. In Europe, we look at the growing demand from investors for structured certificates that provide exposure to companies that report a high dividend yield, have a stable dividend history and have a low volatility.
