Daily Bulletin: Thursday Dec. 11
Dec 11, 2014
EEM saw put spread volume today as the index continued on a downward spiral, following weak news out of China’s onshore equities markets and a corruption scandal in Brazil, two of the larger constituents of the index. We also have news that John-Mark Piampiano has left Pine River in New York, while Christian Grabbe, the ex-head of derivatives trading at Baader Bank, is to join index provider Solactive. In single stocks, Thompson Creek Metals saw big put spread action today, while Yahoo also saw interesting call activity.
