Apple saw some outsized options trading today on the U.S. listed markets, with about 100,000 contracts trading in the first four minutes of the day. Williams Companies was also the target of some bearish put flow, while Starwood Hotel and Resorts also saw some bullish flow. We also look at the potential impacts of incoming collateral rules on the buyside. Some pension funds might find themselves in a unique lending position, while others might find it hard to trade due to a lack of eligible collateral. In the people and firms section, New York-based asset manager Millennium Management has hired Anshul Agarwal, former equity derivatives sales trader and strategist at Bay Crest Partners.
