EQDerivatives Spring 2016 Magazine Is Live!
Apr 20, 2016
The Spring 2016 edition of EQDerivatives Magazine is live! In this issue, we dive deeper in to the growing debate over the DPM role at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. In Europe, we look at the steepening term structure in the Eurostoxx 50, while BCS’ Matthieu Ressencourt discusses the impact of a Russian government initiative on state owned companies on company dividends. In Asia Pacific, we report on the launch of the S&P New China Sectors Index, the decline in Nikkei long-term vol and how convertible bond arbitrage funds are finding an edge in Japan. The cover profile this quarter is of Societe Generale’s Thomas Droumenq, who discusses the firm’s growth strategy in the U.S. Elsewhere, Daniel O’Leary speaks with Harvest’s Ken Kwalik on the firm’s planned options strategy expansion, while buysiders and sellsiders globally are showing increased appetite for interest rates vol indexation. Also, the full agenda for EQDerivatives’ Global EQD 2016 conference at the Aria Las Vegas May 25-26 is featured in the magazine, with Argentiere’s Oleg Lugovkin and Dominice & Co.’s Pierre de Saab being the latest confirmed speakers for the event.
