European Private Wealth, Asset Managers Show Demand For U.S. Listed Options

According to research from TABB Group in March 2014, European investors accounted for an estimated 9% of total U.S. listed options trading volume in 2013. In a presentation at the Chicago Board Options Exchange Risk Management Conference Europe, Andy Nybo, principal and head of derivatives at TABB Group, discussed the approaches to U.S. listed options trading from different types of European investors, with private wealth managers and traditional asset managers representing pockets of growing demand.
