Janus Henderson’s diversified alternatives team, headed by David Elms, has seen significant investment and is expanding and upgrading its capabilities. Systematic strategies are being run by a newly created team, co-headed by Robert Shimell, who joined the group from BlackRock last year and Mark Richardson, who has worked as a portfolio manager at Janus Henderson for over eight years.
