Mackenzie Offers Retail Access To Private Credit With Canada’s First Interval Fund

Retail investors in Canada now have, for the first time, access to a private credit fund with no lockup period, quarterly liquidity and weekly valuations. The interval fund is a one-off for the Canadian market. Asset manager Mackenzie Investments and private-markets investment firm Northleaf Financial teamed up for the fund and worked with regulators to get a special exemption for the interval fund format, which means the fund is available to all Canadian retail investors.
