Mid-Weekly: DXJ Opportunities Spied, VSTOXX Term Structure Elevates

U.S. investors are potentially missing a trick in DXJ, as inflows into the ETF have been subdued despite a fairly consistent rally in Japanese equity since the U.S. election. With yen weakening and Japanese equity rallying, upside calls on the ETF are looking mighty attractive. Also in the U.S. this week, greater bond volatility has the potential to spark innovation around vol management products for the asset classes, specifically aimed at institutional investors that may be turned off by the CDS market.
