PenSam Makes Switch To Climate Change Benchmarks In Portfolio

PenSam, a Danish pension fund with a total of DKK150 billion in assets under management, has made the switch from implementing MSCI’s flagship global equity index, MSCI ACWI, to implementing MSCI ACWI Climate Change Index. Henrik Lorin Rasmussen, senior portfolio manager at PenSam, said, “While integration of ESG-data and climate risk metrics is not new, we see the change of benchmark as a new trend where climate risk and ESG-integration gets a stronger focus.”
