Remembering David Villa

David Villa, executive director and chief investment officer of the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, died in February, aged 66. Villa oversaw a model-setting overhaul at the state pension that bega  a trend toward more in-house management by U.S. pensions and gave other institutions the confidence to embrace derivatives, volatility and multi-asset strategies.
