Swedbank Robur Makes Switch To ESG Indices For Sustainable Funds
Mar 13, 2019
Swedbank Robur, one of Scandinavia’s largest mutual fund managers with EUR125 billion assets under management, has switched to only implementing environmental and social-governance compliant derivatives in its sustainable funds. Magnus Linder, who is responsible for derivatives at the firm, said this was a challenge because when he first started looking for sustainable derivatives, there were none. Now, with ESG-compliant products by Nasdaq and Eurex, Swedbank Robur can say they are one of the only asset managers with specific funds that are solely invested in ESG.
