Advait Apte is a senior investment officer for the Virginia Retirement System (VRS) where he is responsible for the enterprise risk management (ERM) and quantitative research. Prior to joining VRS, Advait was a scientist at Virginia Tech followed by Arizona State University.
Advait received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University and an MA in Economics from the City College of New York. He is also a CFA charterholder.
