Aous Labbane is a seasoned investment professional with over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. With a rich background in investment banking and asset management, he is the founder of Jasmin Capital and Consultancy, an advisory firm specializing in product design and the distribution of quantitative investments, structured derivatives and investment funds.
Most recently, Aous led the EMEA Equity Asset Structuring at Nomura in London. Previously, he was a partner and Head of Business Development at Ossiam, a French asset manager focused on ETFs and Quantitative Investment Strategies. Aous also served as a member of the European Equity Derivatives Management Committee, Global Head of Fund Linked Products, and European Head of Equity Derivatives Structuring at Credit Suisse from 2003 to 2015. His career began at Dresdner Bank, where he worked in the Quantitative Risk team, overseeing equity derivative portfolios and developing volatility models, following a role as Senior Investment Manager at Société Générale Asset Management.
Aous has catered to a diverse array of clients globally, including large insurance companies, pension funds, and private banks. His expertise spans cross-asset product structuring, risk management, portfolio allocation, and product innovation.
He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Paris VI and in Computer Science from ENSTA Paris, along with a Generalist Engineering Degree from École Polytechnique Paris.
