Ken leads UTIMCO’s multi-asset strategic partnership and tactical asset allocation portfolios. These strategies combine external and internal management to drive UTIMCO’s investment strategy, actively manage portfolio exposures and internalize new and emerging investment competencies.
Ken joined UTIMCO in 2017 as chief of staff where he was responsible for executing strategic initiatives and organizational priorities across asset classes and teams as well as managing all internal and external engagement with UTIMCO’s executive office.
His professional background includes allocator roles with the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, Salient Partners, and a Houston-based family office. Prior to his career in finance, Ken managed a study abroad program based in Harbin, PRC. Ken graduated from The George Washington University in 2008 with an undergraduate degree in Economics. He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife Natalie and two kids, Cora and Gus.
