Nicholas Heaney

Nicholas Heaney is deputy CIO at Convex Strategies Pte Ltd, holding the same role at Convex Strategies Group within City Financial Investment Company from July 2016, and prior to that Fortress Investment Group from November 2011. Before joining Fortress, Nic was executive director, head of Asia-Pac rates sales for Nomura in Singapore from 2009-2011, where he was responsible for building all aspects of fixed income derivatives. Before joining Nomura, Nicholas worked at ABN AMRO in both Tokyo and Singapore from 2005. He began his career with Credit Agricole in Singapore in 1999, before moving to Japan in 2002 as sales manager and subsequently head of hedge fund sales in 2004. Nicholas studied a BSc (Hons) surveying degree at South Bank University London.
