Since January 2023, Yongsoo Nam has served as head of ETF management division at Korea Investment Management, leading the growth of ACE ETF’s assets under management (AUM) from KRW 2.9582 trillion to 17.2954 trillion (as of August 11, 2025) and expanding the company’s market share.
He has spearheaded the planning and launch of various thematic and asset allocation ETFs, including ‘ACE U.S. Big Tech TOP7 Plus ETF’, ‘ACE TDF ETF series’, successfully meeting diverse investor needs. In addition, by introducing products such as the ‘ACE U.S. quality dividend ETF series’ that align with key market trends, he has strengthened the company’s growth momentum.
He also implemented the AI-powered ‘ACE AI Contact Center’, enhancing investor accessibility and convenience. Through these innovative product developments and customer-focused service enhancements, he has played a pivotal role in boosting competitiveness and ensuring the sustainable growth of Korea Investment Management’s ETF business.
He majored in electronic engineering at Yonsei University and earned a master’s degree in financial engineering from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. He also served as the inaugural president of the Korea Quant Association for six years.
