Ade Cordell

Ade Cordell is president of Cboe NL. This is Cboe’s Netherlands-based exchange which launched in October 2019 and will be the future home to Cboe Europe Derivatives. Before becoming president in July 2020, Ade was head of business development overseeing Cboe Europe’s expansion into derivatives.

Ade has over 25 years’ financial markets experience having worked for leading investment banks and derivatives exchanges. Prior to joining Cboe Europe in January 2020, Ade was the global head of equity derivatives at ICE. His role encompassed leading client-facing equity derivatives business development and product teams in London, New York and Chicago. He has an international career background having worked in London and New York with Deutsche Bank, as well as stints in London and Hong Kong with Credit Suisse First Boston.

Ade holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Electronic Business from Cass Business School, City, University of London, and a Master of Science degree in International Strategy and Diplomacy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
