Aldo Van Audenaerde

Aldo Van Audenaerde joined Optiver in 2013 as a market maker in European index derivatives in Amsterdam, becoming leader of the positions-taking team in 2017. Aldo was instrumental in developing the firm’s capabilities in equity derivatives positional trading and was a key driver of Optiver’s entry into the institutional trading space, connecting the firm’s liquidity directly to end users. In 2019 he moved to Sydney to head the index trading team for Optiver APAC.

Aldo has been a partner at Optiver since 2016 and holds a master’s in chemical engineering from the University of Leuven, Belgium.
