Alexandre Chabot is a seasoned commodity professional with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He possesses a deep understanding of physical sales, financial commodity trading, and hedging across diverse markets such as copper, aluminum, iron ore, and energy.

Throughout his career, Alexandre has held pivotal roles at Rio Tinto, notably leading the creation of a centralized commodity derivatives trading desk and managing global treasury front-office operations. He has played a key role in implementing complex trading systems and developing new revenue streams in commodity markets, significantly enhancing operational
efficiencies and profitability. His tenure as Director of Treasury Markets included managing a substantial money market portfolio with a focus on liquidity and risk management.

Alexandre holds a bachelor’s degree in business from HEC Montreal and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Sherbrooke. He also holds CFA and FRM designations.when investing.
