Anand Rathi

Anand Rathi has been a part of Optiver, a global market maker for over eight years. After being recruited from India, where he studied in IITB Electrical Engineering, he joined Optiver on the Brazil desk mentored by Mark Durst. After this, Anand moved on to set up the ADR desk in 2016, during which time he took the desk to the next level. Off the back of that success, he transitioned to the EU MM desk to take over that setup in 2017

Since 2017, Anand has been developing how Optiver trades in SSO whist growing the EU SSO business, and in return becoming the team lead of EU SSO resulting in merging EU, and Brazil to lead an all round SSO team in from the Amsterdam office.

Anand is now working on an exciting project geared towards a TA SSO team and AMS-CHI collaboration. For 2023, his energy and focus is on the US SSO project.
