Andres Schmitz

Andres Schmitz joined UBS in 2004 and was appointed EMEA head of global markets structured and solutions distribution in 2019. Before that, he led the equity derivatives distribution in Germany and Austria.

Andres started his career in 2000 at Credit Suisse as a trainee in the corporate center, private bank and investment bank (fixed income trading).

Andres holds a Master’s degree in finance from London Business School, University of London and a Bachelor’s degree in economics from University College London, where he graduated with a first and in the top 5% of his class.
