Anna Hawley

Anna Hawley, CFA, Managing Director and senior portfolio manager, leads Sustainability/ESG portfolio management in BlackRock’s Systematic Active Equity (SAE) team. She manages Sustainable portfolios, is responsible for integrating ESG insights into core systematic funds and developing custom ESG solutions. Prior to her current role, Anna led ESG PM within the Global SAE team since 2015.

Anna service with the firm dates back to 2002, including her years with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which merged with BlackRock in 2009. Previously at BGI, Anna was the model manager for the Active Equity Growth funds, and a research analyst in the Active Equity group. Prior to joining BGI, Anna was a project manager of credit risk modeling at Fair, Isaac.

Anna earned a BA in mathematics from the University of California Berkeley in 1997.
