Bruno Bernardes

Bruno Bernardes is the head of volatility trading desk at Banco Santander Brasil. He is also responsible for managing the commodity trading desk at the bank’s treasury department. Before joining the trading floor, he oversaw the quant team, providing technological and analytical tools to support traders managing their risks and pricing exotic derivatives.

He holds a B.Sc. in physics from University of de São Paulo (USP) and engineering from École Polytechnique (Paris), a M.Sc. in Quantitative Finance from Université d’Evry (Paris). He is also a CFA charterholder.
