Carlos Gomez

Carlos Gomez is the chief investment officer of Belobaba Crypto Fund. He is a CPA and attorney from Australia currently living in Miami and has been involved in the crypto industry since 2015.

With a combination of legal and financial skills, Carlos oversees the investment decisions of the fund based on a wide range of data analytic tools and at the same time, is well-positioned to navigate the legal complexities that the crypto and blockchain industries face.

Previously to his current post, Carlos was the performance manager of a large state government fund (one of the few remaining jurisdictions with a AAA credit rating in the world).

He was the ambassador in 2020 of the Polkadot protocols for the city of Miami and also a board member of a very influential not-for-profit organization in Sydney. He is also a member of the CoinTelegraph Innovation Circle.
