Chris Worthington

Chris Worthington is a senior investment strategist in the NZ Super Fund’s asset allocation team. In his role, he is responsible for supporting the reference portfolio, the fund’s long-term benchmark, modeling liquidity risk, as well as capital allocation (risk budgeting) across the fund’s value-add activities.

Chris was instrumental in the development of the fund’s climate change investment strategy, devising the methodology used to decarbonize its passive equity holdings. Chris is a member of the new investments group and is the current chair of the arbitrage, credit and funding risk budget team.

Chris holds a BCA in finance and a Graduate Diploma in economics, both from Victoria University of Wellington. He is a CFA Charterholder.
