Colin Toh

Colin Toh is a managing director in cross-asset investible indices and Asia Pacific head of global commodities for Bank of America Securities based in Hong Kong. Colin runs the commodity business in the Asia Pacific region and he has also been tasked to build up the global cross-asset investible indices business and platform. Before Colin took on his current role, he was responsible for originating and structuring both investment and hedging solutions for asset managers, financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, private investors and corporates as Asia Pacific head of investor solutions.
Prior to joining the firm, Colin was performing a similar management role at Goldman Sachs & Co. based in Hong Kong and with Merrill Lynch based in Singapore. Earlier in his career, Colin was a senior structurer at Barclays Capital based in London, United Kingdom. Colin started his career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore in the Reserve and Monetary Management Department, where his main responsibilities include conducting monetary policy via the foreign exchange market/money market and issuing Singapore government bonds in the fixed income market.
Colin was a recipient of the Director’s Scholarship from the University of Cambridge and the British Chevening Scholarship from the UK government. Colin holds a Masters of Science in financial engineering from the National University of Singapore and Masters of business administration from the University of Cambridge. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with an honors degree in finance.
