David Doyle

David Doyle is Macquarie’s head of economics and leads coverage in the Americas region. His work has focused on the resilience of the US economy and consumers, the short and long-term impacts of demographic change, the importance of the energy sector and inflation dynamics. In addition to these and other themes, David provides insights on implications for interest rates, foreign exchange, and asset allocation. Prior to joining Macquarie, David was a management consultant and a buy-side analyst. David is a CFA charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master’s of Science in managerial economics. He was also a Ph.D candidate with a specialty in international trade.
