Dimitri Grechenko

Dimitri is a fixed-income portfolio manager and trader. He is also a specialist and trader in currencies and commodities. Dimitri spent years working with derivatives. His experience encompasses a range of fixed income investment strategies: from core/core+ multi sector fixed income, TIPS/global inflation-linked, US high yield, local currency emerging market nominal and inflation-linked debt.
Dimitri is an active contributor to the Macro, Tactical Asset Allocation and to the Risk/Portfolio Construction Committees at MSRPS. He is managing/trading TIPS, Long Government Bonds and contributes to the Investment Grade Corporate Bonds’ mandate. Dimitri is also trading FX and derivatives.
Prior to Maryland State Retirement Fund, Dimitri worked at NISA Investment Advisors in St. Luis, MO and before that at T. Rowe Price. He began his investments career at Legg Mason Wood Walker.
Dimitri earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Baltimore. He has earned a Bachelor’s degree from a Russian Federation University. Dimitri earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
