Everaldo Franca

Everaldo França is chief executive officer and founder of PPS Portfolio Performance Ltd., a 27 years old Brazilian investment consultancy focused on institutional investors. Before founding PPS, he worked in the Brazilian financial industry and as chief financial officer in Brazil for ECOM Group, a soft commodities multinational trading company. Everaldo has been named Investment Consultant of the Year four times by Brazilian Pension Funds. He is a frequent speaker at Brazilian and international events focused on pension funds investments and teaches finance at M.B.A. programs at FIA in São Paulo and UniAbrapp, the educational arm for ABRAPP.

The co-author of “Risk Management in Pension Funds” (2008) and “Business Finance in Less Developed Capital Markets” (1992), Everaldo is also a director for the Sao Paulo State Handball Federation, Chairman of the Board for IPREM (São Paulo City Social Security Institute) and a member of the board for Casa da Paz, a social project working with poor teenagers in São Paulo State. He holds an engineering degree from the Polytechnic School of São Paulo University.
