Fatima Hussain

Fatima is seasoned risk management professional with more than 17 years experience in the field across various industries and geographies.

Experienced in wealth management with Goldman Sachs-New York and Citadel Investments Group-Chicago, at the M&A risk arbitrage desk, mortgage backed securities desk and fundamental equities. She was previously in a senior role at MSCI advising various US, European & Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, asset owners, asset managers, hedge funds and banking institutions on their risk management policies and meeting regulatory requirements.

Fatima is currently the senior lead for risk management at the Emirates Investment Authority (EIA), the federal sovereign wealth fund of UAE. She has successfully helped formalize EIA’s risk management process and sustainability framework to bring it in line with best in class whilst introducing risk management discipline across various investment heads / teams.
