Hannes Huett

Hannes Huett is an executive director at UBS Global Wealth Management Chief Investment Office, responsible for the development, implementation and operation of quantitative models and investment strategies. Those models drive UBS’ USD30 billion systematic allocation offering and support the strategic and tactical asset allocations that form the CIO House View. His core areas of expertise are in quantitative modeling, strategy/portfolio construction, cross-asset allocation, macroeconomic modeling and behavioural finance.
Hannes has held several quantitative roles at UBS since 2009. Prior to joining CIO in 2015, he worked in a variety of roles focused on credit risk modeling, investment strategies and asset-liability management.
Hannes holds a master’s degree in mathematical finance from the University of Konstanz, Germany with a specialization in financial econometrics, quantitative finance and derivatives modeling.
