Hasim Mardin

Hasim Mardin, MSc is a director at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) where he is a member of the Risk and Portfolio Management Team (RPM). Hasim is focused on Trust liquidity and manages the Government Bond portfolio and the
Repo Program. Before joining RPM, Hasim worked on the FX sleeve of the Alternative Risk Premia strategies in the Multi-Asset Strategies group at TRS.

Prior to joining TRS, Hasim worked as an analyst in Ship Sale and Purchase Brokering industry in Istanbul, Turkey. Hasim holds a MSc in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, and a MA in Economics from Sabanci University, Istanbul. Hasim graduated from Sabanci University with a BA in Economics and minor in Mathematics. Hasim holds the FRM designation.
