Hughie Jessel

Hughie Jessel is head of fund investments at Rothschild & Co Wealth Management UK, having joined in October 2011. Hughie and his team are focused on sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring liquid investment strategies with a particular emphasis on concentrated fundamental equity, quantitative
macro, and volatility trading. Hughie also oversees Rothschild & Co Wealth Management UK’s direct investments in derivative markets and has co-portfolio manager responsibilities on a handful of specialised mandates.

Prior to his current role, Hughie held other roles within Rothschild & Co Wealth Management UK, including Investment Strategist, and prior to that, worked in a client advisory team within the firm. He holds a BSc in Physics from Imperial College and is a CFA Charterholder.

Outside of work, Hughie is interested in music and sport, as well as taking his children on long walks through the Wiltshire countryside.
