Jay Pestrichelli is co-founder and managing director of ZEGA Financial. He specializes in developing successful option strategies to protect investors’ equity positions and generate alternative income while driving targeted returns.
Jay has over 25 years of experience in the financial markets. In addition to managing ZEGA’s 16 options-based SMA strategies, he is the portfolio manager and sub-advisor for over 30 actively managed ETFs including funds from the YieldMax, Defiance, NicholasX and Sofi brands.

Jay has been a regular contributor to top media and news outlets including Bloomberg, WSJ, TheStreet, MarketWatch, US News and World Report, Fox Business and CNBC. Prior to launching ZEGA, he spent 12 years managing and growing the online brokerage business for TD Ameritrade and Datek Online.
