Jean-François Bacmann

Jean-François Bacmann (French) is a Principal at LGT Capital Partners in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland. He is responsible for research on the quantitative
investment strategies team. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Jean-François oversaw systematic volatility trading and was an associate partner at Man/AHL.

During this time, he was responsible for the development and the operations related to the systematic strategies trading volatility instruments from a long / short perspective. Prior to this, Jean-François oversaw overlay strategies at Man Systematic Strategies where he was responsible for the tail hedging systematic
programs.

Jean-François completed his Applied Mathematics and Computer Science studies at ENSIMAG in Grenoble, France and received a PhD in Finance from
the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, where he also lectures on a part-time basis. He is fluent in French, English and German.
