Jianbin Xiao

Dr. Jianbin Xiao is senior vice president for Olam International, which is a global leading food and agri-business company and a Fortune Global 500 company. At Olam, he heads the global commodity trading program and manages the global commodity trading book. In addition, he also serves as a member of the management committee of Olam Agri.

Jianbin has over 20 years of investment and research experience. Before joining Olam, he spent eight years as a portfolio manager at NN Investment Partners (now part of Goldman Sachs Asset Management), managing the NNIP flagship commodity enhanced and multi-asset funds. Before that, he worked at Robeco and APG Asset Management.

He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Utrecht University and two master’s degrees from the University of Amsterdam and Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
