Koei Imai

He joined Asset Management One in February 2025 to develop the ETF business.

Prior to AM One, he joined Nikko Asset Management in December 2006 and became head of the ETF Center in August 2008. He has been head of the ETF Business Department and global co-head of the ETF business since November 2018. He has been a senior advisor at the ETF Center since November 2020.

Prior to Nikko AM, he worked for Mizuho Financial Group and DLIBJ Asset Management Co., Ltd. (now Asset Management One Co., Ltd.). Prior to that, he worked for Mizuho Research Institute Co., Ltd. Prior to the launch of Mizuho Financial Group, he joined the Industrial Bank of Japan (IBJ) in April 1985.

He was a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Economics of Musashi University (2012, 2013) and Gakushuin University (2014).
