Leandro Marinho

Leandro Marinho is an institutional sales trader on the Brazil desk at Optiver, based in Amsterdam. He was hired in October 2022, and is responsible for managing the relationship with local counterparties, finding new opportunities, products and developing the business in Brazil overall. With over 10 years of experience in local markets, most of it at Bradesco BBI, he was previously an institutional sales trader for the cash equities desk from 2018 to 2022, and business development/electronic client solutions from 2012 to 2018. Leandro worked on several successful business cases over the years, trading and developing new products and helping to bring the business to the next level.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and is a CFA Charterholder since 2017.
