Louis Lavalle

Louis LaValle is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Frontier, a private investment firm focused on digital assets. Louis has over 20 years of experience advising institutional investors on hedge fund, private equity, and digital asset strategies. Prior to founding Frontier, Louis was president and senior portfolio manager of 3iQ Digital Assets (US), where he founded the firm’s Hedge Fund Solutions business. In this role, he was responsible for the development, execution, and investment management of the platform. While at 3iQ, he also launched the industry’s first dedicated managed account platform for digital assets and established the industry’s first crypto-focused chief investment office (OCIO) offering.

Previously, Louis held senior leadership roles at Neuberger Berman, EACM Advisors, Permal Group, and SkyBridge Capital. He also served as a strategic advisor to Crescent Crypto Asset Management, an early pioneer in index-based digital asset investing. Louis began his career at Morgan Stanley, advising family offices and institutional clients. He earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from New York University.
