Maitane Goicoechea

Maitane Goicoechea has 20 years of experience in the asset management industry. She is currently head of goal based solution, including alternative risk premia in the Asset Allocation team of BBVA Asset Management. The team manages portfolios of around EUR 6 billion, 2.7 of them being alternative risk premia products. Previously, she was head of long term asset allocation.

She holds a degree in economics (Mathematical Economy) from UPV University, a Master of Science in international securities investment and banking from University of Reading, a master’s in financial analysis and asset management from BBVA Escuela de Finanzas and a master’s in quantitative finance from Escuela de Finanzas Aplicadas (AFI). Maitane is a CFA charterholder.
